Time

This is one of my favorite personal works called "Time". Featuring my doll character Mirai. I played around with concept of time with this illustration. As you can see clocks are applied everywhere in this character such as her clock eyes, her clock heart, accessories and buttons were clocks or gears, grandfather clock for her neck tie etc. I wanted it her design to give a steampunk era feel. She is a rabbit character based on the white rabbit from Alice in wonderland. Some personal thoughts and inspiration to this design was my huge problem with time management. I'm constantly pressuring myself to get improve my skills faster (I'm seriously slow at painting...) , then balancing family, friends, and alone time for art and other hobbies. I honestly felt like my head was going to explode from the pressure. As a result I created this . This is my second artwork to receive a daily deviation feature.
